Leisure Trip Insurance

Leisure Trip Insurance

Holidays come in different shapes too: a week by the sea, several short trips over the year, or a long winter stay in a warm country. Pick the policy type that matches your travel pattern — you won't overpay, and you'll be covered for the whole time abroad.

Which policy type to choose:

  • A single holiday: A regular "Short trip" policy works well — set it up for the exact dates from departure to return.
  • Several trips during the year: Choose "Multiple trips per year" — one policy for all short trips within your chosen day budget for the year. No need to buy insurance before every trip.
  • A long trip or wintering abroad: Choose a "365-day policy" — continuous coverage for your whole stay abroad.

Planning to ski, dive or trek — choose "Active tourism" as the purpose: a regular leisure policy does not cover injuries from such activities.

How to insure a holiday trip

1

Pick your trip type

"Short trip" for a single holiday, "Multiple trips per year" for frequent getaways, or a "365-day policy" for a long stay.

2

Set your trip purpose

Choose "Tourism, relaxed vacation" as the trip purpose in the calculator. For skiing, diving or hiking — "Active tourism".

3

Check the coverage limit

€30,000 is enough for Europe. For far destinations — the USA, Canada, Asia — we recommend €50,000: treatment there costs far more.

4

Get your policy

The policy is issued instantly and sent to your email — save it to your phone before you leave.
