Privacy Policy
1. General provisions
The owner and controller of personal data collected through the ensuria.com website (the “Website”) is LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY “Ensuria Operations Ukraine” (the “Company”, “we”), EDRPOU code 43812574, registered address: 27T Dehtiarivska St., letter A, Kyiv, 04119, Ukraine. The Company is an insurance intermediary (subagent) entered in the Register of Intermediaries of the National Bank of Ukraine (record No. 00011304) and acts on behalf and on the instructions of the insurance agent LLC “POLIS.UA” (EDRPOU code 41844667).
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” No. 2297-VI of 01.06.2010 and other applicable legislation of Ukraine.
This Policy applies to all personal data the Company receives through the Website: when calculating an insurance quote, placing an order, contacting customer support or subscribing to the newsletter.
2. Personal data processed
To issue, conclude and perform an insurance contract, the Company processes the following personal data of the policyholder and insured persons: last name, first name, patronymic (if any); date of birth; identity document (international passport) details; taxpayer identification number (RNOKPP); residential address; phone number; e-mail address.
Identity document details, the taxpayer number and the residential address are processed solely for the purpose of issuing, concluding and performing the insurance contract. This data is transferred to the insurance agent LLC “POLIS.UA” and to the insurance company selected by the policyholder, and is not stored in the Company's information systems after the contract has been issued.
When you contact customer support, the Company processes the name, contact details and content of the request voluntarily provided by the person making it.
The Company does not collect via the Website personal data whose processing poses a particular risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects under Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”: information on racial or ethnic origin, political, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of political parties and trade unions, criminal convictions, as well as data concerning health, sex life, biometric or genetic data.
3. Processing of minors' personal data
The Website is not intended for independent use by persons under 18 years of age. The Company does not knowingly collect personal data directly from minors.
Minors' personal data is processed only where such persons are insured under an insurance contract (including family plans). In that case the minor's data is provided by their parents or other legal representatives who, by providing the data, confirm their authority and consent to the processing of the minor's personal data to the extent necessary to conclude and perform the insurance contract.
If the Company becomes aware that a minor's personal data was provided without the consent of a legal representative, such data will be deleted as soon as possible.
4. Purposes and grounds of processing
We process personal data to: issue, conclude and service insurance contracts; identify the policyholder and insured persons; communicate with you about your order (confirmation, sending the policy by e-mail, price change notifications); comply with legal requirements; improve the Website and its services.
The Company does not use your contact details — e-mail address and phone number — without your consent. With your consent, we may use them to improve service quality and for marketing communication (service messages, newsletters). You can opt out at any time via the link in the e-mail or by contacting us.
The grounds for processing are your consent, given by clicking “Continue” at the personal data step, as well as the necessity to perform the insurance contract and comply with the law.
5. Data retention
Personal data is kept no longer than necessary for the purposes of its processing.
Data related to concluded insurance contracts is kept by the insurer and the insurance agent for the term of the contract and, after its expiry, for the periods established by law for keeping financial documentation.
Quote data for which no contract was concluded is kept for a limited time and then deleted or anonymised.
6. Third parties
To conclude and perform an insurance contract, personal data of the policyholder and insured persons is transferred to the insurance agent LLC “POLIS.UA”, through whose information and telecommunication system electronic insurance contracts are concluded, and to the insurance company you selected.
Payments are made via the LiqPay payment system (https://www.liqpay.ua). The Company does not accept payments to its own account and does not collect or store payment card data — it is processed by the payment provider in accordance with the international PCI DSS security standard.
Personal data may be transferred to state authorities only in the cases and in the manner provided for by the legislation of Ukraine.
7. Data subject rights
Under Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, a data subject has the right to: know the sources of collection and the location of their personal data, the purpose of its processing and the location of the data owner or processor; receive information on the conditions of access to personal data, including information about third parties to whom the data is transferred; access their personal data; and receive, within thirty calendar days of a request, an answer as to whether their personal data is being processed, as well as the content of such data.
The data subject also has the right to: submit a reasoned demand to the data owner objecting to the processing of their personal data; submit a reasoned demand for the modification or deletion of their personal data if it is processed unlawfully or is inaccurate; protection of their personal data from unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage; file complaints about the processing of their personal data with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or a court; apply legal remedies in case of violation of personal data protection legislation; make reservations restricting the right to process their personal data when giving consent; withdraw consent to the processing of personal data; know the mechanism of automatic processing of personal data; and protection from an automated decision that has legal consequences for them.
To exercise your rights, send a request to support@ensuria.com or via the Contact page. Access requests are satisfied within 30 calendar days; requests for correction or deletion of data, or withdrawal of consent — within 10 business days of receipt.
Please note: deletion of data required for performing a current insurance contract, or which the law requires to be kept, is possible only after the relevant periods expire.
9. Advertising, marketing and online tracking
The Company may use third-party advertising and analytics tools (online advertising, remarketing and campaign measurement services) that employ cookies and similar technologies to display advertising, including personalised advertising, on third-party resources.
Such tools may collect anonymised information about the user's interaction with the Website: pages viewed, referral source, approximate region, device type. This information is not combined with the personal data provided for issuing an insurance contract and is not used to identify a person.
Marketing communication by e-mail or phone is carried out only with the user's prior consent. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time: by restricting cookies in your browser settings, using the settings of the relevant advertising platforms, or contacting the Company at support@ensuria.com.
10. Data protection
Data transfer between your browser and the Website is protected by HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption).
We apply organisational and technical measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction: access restrictions, infrastructure protection and regular software updates.
Access to personal data is granted only to persons who need it to perform their duties and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
