American Airlines passenger Andy Eisenmann was greeted by police officers upon arrival in Palm Springs after he complained about the flight attendants' lack of masks.
The traveler told The Independent that he noticed two crew members before leaving Dallas, who had been without masks for more than half an hour. According to him, they did not eat or drink anything at this time.
About half an hour before arrival, Eisenmann complained to another flight attendant that he was offended by such actions of the crew.
As a result, the police met him at the airport and escorted him to interrogation in the case of a riot on board. Eisenmann said the airline did not explain to him how he broke the rules.
American Airlines, commenting on the case, said the police did not detain the passenger, and the police were called to the scene as a precautionary measure after receiving notification of a violation of order on board.
The airline has already contacted the passenger to clarify the circumstances of the incident, and is engaged in this issue.
