GoCompare is introducing a system of "blind" resumes to attract women to work.
The price comparison site GoCompare has published a list of vacancies for women and a system of blind summaries to attract staff from among women. Such measures were taken after the site was brought to justice for violation of equality in the remuneration of men and women.
Blind summaries suggest that the name, age and some other data about the person who is trying to get a job are hidden. The team of the site claims that these steps allowed to increase the number of women applying for engineering jobs. The selection of candidates for the position of director of marketing is conducted on the same principles. Next year, when GoCompare recruits 250 people, the company will have to report again on the pay gap between men and women.
